INFORMACION de
hoy: El Ayuntamiento de Hondón de las Nieves ha precintado la planta
asfáltica próxima al casco urbano con cuya empresa mantiene un litigio
desde el año pasado. El cierre lo ha efectuado la Policía Local a
instancias del equipo de gobierno de PSOE-Ciudadanos en cumplimiento del
acuerdo unánime adoptado en el último pleno.
Seguimos en alerta hasta el momento que la planta se
desmantela. Pero gracias a la Plataforma y nuestra abogada, hemos
luchando para nuestro pueblo, nuestra población, la salud, el ambiente y
la agricultura. Gracias a todos para su soporte!

Today, the newspaper Información posted an article which basically says:
The Local Police has sealed the Asphalt/Tarmac factory upon request of the Town Hall after unanimous consent of all parties. You can read the Spanish text in the link below.
The measurement has been issued after the so
called ‘’revisión de oficio’’ which has reversed the initial (and
wrong) certificate of compliance with Urbanism. Also Town Hall has
corrected errors made in the technical interpretation of the existent
regulations. The company has issued installations and started to produce
without obligatory licenses; which has led to sanctions to re-install
the legalization, including fines for illegal operations and order to
dismantle the plant.
The Mayor mentions, that the company had
started activities for months without the necessary licenses, motivating
it by ‘’doing trials’’. And it issued start-up of electricity, which
was eventually blocked by Town Hall, on the base of missing a License of
environment. Also, the company issued an administrative complaint and
claimed millions of losses. But within weeks, it has withdrawn both the
juridical and administrational process.
The Mayor mentions that the company has
given the impression of ‘’playing’’ (and abuse) with/of a small
Town/Town Hall. However, the Town Hall has listened to the public and
has looked for their approval. The main issue seemed to be a
misinterpretation of the technical staff, which has put everybody into
confusion. And…it seems, that the company had not expected the firm
position of the actual government, and the Town Hall has finally backed
up and supported the view of the majority of the people.
So far the article. It seems unlikely that
the company will be able to re-start again. So have we won finally?
Until the factory is dismantled and removed, we will continue to be
alert, together with our lawyer. Thanks to the tremendous work of her
and the Platform, we have achieved a major task in protecting our town,
our people, our health, environment, nature and agriculture. Thanks to all, that have supported and/or have being active in this fight!

Vandaag werd een artikel in de krant Información geplaatst met als essentie: de lokale
Politie heeft op last v/d gemeente de Asfaltfabriek verzegeld na
unaniem akkoord door alle partijen. De Spaanse tekst is via de link te
lezen.
De maatregel werd genomen nadat de
zogenaamde ‘’revisión de oficio’’ de oorspronkelijke (onjuiste)
goedkeuring van de fabriek binnen het bestemmingsplan v/d gemeente heeft
herzien. Ook heeft de gemeente eerder gemaakte fouten hersteld en werd
vooral de technische goedkeuring als oorzaak voor verwarring (en foute
besluiten) aangehaald. Het bedrijf heeft ten onrechte installaties
opgezet en proeven gedaan, terwijl wettelijke certificaten ontbraken.
Dit heeft geleid tot sancties en het indienen van een boete door de
gemeente en het bevel, om de fabriek af te breken.
De Burgemeester heeft aangegeven,
dat het bedrijf willens en wetens maandenlang illegaal activiteiten
heeft uitgevoerd. Ook de plaatsing van een elektriciteitspaal was zonder
vergunning v/d gemeente aangevraagd, maar gestopt door de gemeente als
gevolg van missen van de noodzakelijke milieuvergunning. Het bedrijf had
een formele klacht tegen de gemeente ingediend en een schadeclaim van
miljoenen. De juridische procedure alsmede de klacht zijn inmiddels door
hen ingetrokken.
De Burgemeester stelt vast, dat het
bedrijf kennelijk de gok nam om te ‘’spelen’’ (en misbruiken) van/met
een kleine gemeente/dorp. Maar...de gemeente heeft geluisterd naar de
burgers. Kennelijk bleek een misinterpretatie van de technische staf de
reden voor verwarring. En..het lijkt erop dat het bedrijf niet had
gerekend op een stevige positie van de gemeente, die uiteindelijk de
visie van de meerderheid v/h dorp erkende en steunde.
Tot zover het artikel. Het lijkt
thans onwaarschijnlijk, dat de fabriek ooit nog opstart hier. Dus hebben
we echt gewonnen? Totdat de fabriek is afgebroken en vertrokken blijven
wij alert, samen met onze advocate. Met dank aan de enorme inspanning
van haar en het Platvorm, hebben we een grote overwinning weten te
behalen in de bescherming van het dorp, de mensen, de natuur, het
milieu, onze gezondheid en de landbouw. Dank aan allen, die ons hebben
gesteund en/of actief waren in onze strijd!
